Big News in the Beck family...
Well, through the month of December our little family had important decisions to make. The month started out flying out to interviews, scheduling interviews, cancelling interviews and by the end of December, we now know where the next part of our lives is going to happen. Here are some hints...

That's right, Steve will be an Assistant Professor at North Dakota State University. (That's right, not Assistant to the Professor :) Yippee! We have a real job!!! We are so excited. We feel very blessed.

CONGRATS!! That's totally awesome. I used to work with a guy who was from Fargo and he loved it. Went on and on and on about how great it was. Come to think of it, he was pretty annoying about how great it was. Hmmm, regardless, congrats again!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Since I'm obsessed with the fact that we can't afford to buy a house here, I of course had to look up Fargo to see your awesome possibilities! I love these MLS #s:0706044 and 0704352 :) I am so so thrilled for you guys! You both have to feel so good that you know where you're heading next.
And since I'm so excited for you - I also checked out google maps to see where Fargo was - only 10 hours from Chicago! And so close to Canada - I am really happy for you. Keep us posted as you figure out the details!

North Dakota should be a lot of fun... Too bad it's not South Dakota because I have a good South Dakota story... but still... North Dakota is cool. :) I'm happy for you!
Congrats on the job! What great news. It is so nice to settle down. You definitely deserve a pat on the back. Getting a PhD. is not an easy road, especially when you're toting two cute kiddos along the way.
Derek applied to two schools in Virginia, one in New York and one in Ohio (I told him only schools in the east). I'll let you know if we get accepted anywhere. We are really hoping for Virginia.
Amanda I'm so excited for you guys. I'm cheering/praying for Virginia then.
