August (Well, the rest of it)
Whitney's birthday and the start of school (they always happen within days of each other). This year, school happened the day before Whitney's birthday, so she was technically 5 when she started grade one this year (well, for one day!)
Whitney's birthday:
Before school we let her open presents from us
On the weekend she had her party (she made necklaces with her friends--birthday cookie chez moi)
Joshua lost a tooth
And we replaced our hideous dusty rose carpet with bamboo. We love it!

Your living room is gorgeous! I love the lamp, chair and artwork too. You must love being close to IKEA!
